The Lake Region Union High School Rangers met stiff competition Friday when the Lancers from Lamoille Union High School visited for a fierce evening bout. The pace of the game was quick, with action centered on the boards where players tried to defend the net or take the ball down and sprint to the opposite hoop. In the end the game came down to the contested final quarter, in which both teams had the chance to come out on top.
