Police investigate more killings

Even as the Vermont State Police work overtime to resolve a recent spate of suspicious deaths, the tide of gun death continues.  On Monday night, State Police spokesman Adam Silverman sent out a press release about the killing of a 14-year-old boy in Bristol.

The release says police were called to a house on North Street in Bristol where Madden Gouveia, 14, of Shelburne, was found critically injured.  He was given medial attention and taken by ambulance to the University of Vermont Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

By Tuesday morning police said they had arrested another youth for second-degree murder. …
