Wrestlers from Lake Region High School and North Country Union High School practice daily at St. Johnsbury Academy, along with one other wrestler from Lyndon Institute. The wrestlers that train with the academy are considered independent wrestlers because their schools do not have wrestling programs. But the students still want to participate in the sport, particularly since they have been previously wrestling in their local youth programs before high school.
