Lake Region shows promise despite early losses

The girls of Lake Region Union High School took to the court against those of Lamoille Union High School on January 4.  Without a win this season, the Rangers have seen a season of growth thus far.  They have a new roster as some students graduated while others have stepped into the school’s basketball program.  The new lineup still has a ways to go, but that didn’t stop them from giving the visitors from Lamoille a challenge.

The team lost several fierce players to graduation in June.  Now, the team is led by the two juniors who took their place as they enter their final year in the program, guards Olivia MacEachern and Madison Bowman…
