HOLLAND — Falling enrollment made Holland Elementary School’s future look grim, but a move by the state to merge the Holland and Derby school boards forced the town’s voters to reluctantly close its doors.
They were reopened on October 9 for a public meeting to discuss possible future uses for the school building.
Almost 50 citizens turned up to ponder Holland’s needs and what place the empty school might play in meeting them.
