LOWELL — At approximately ten minutes after 7 p.m. Monday night, Troy Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bobby Jacobs was called to respond to a barn fire at the home of Rita and Robert Raboin on Route 100 in Lowell. The news was there were animals inside the building. “When we got on the scene there was heavy fire throughout the whole barn,” Mr. Jacobs said Tuesday. The Troy department, as well as departments from North Troy and North Hyde Park, had responded to support the Lowell fire crew. Water came from a private pond ten miles south on Route 100.
