BROWNINGTON — New drivers on the roads in Brownington might notice a few colorful signs welcoming motorists to the community. The signs look to be the work of schoolchildren and the vibrant colors make them look relatively new.
“A little boy from my daughter’s third-grade class made one of those signs,” Town Clerk Valerie Faust said when asked about the welcome signs, “and my daughter will be 23 years old soon.”
