BARTON — The Barton Select Board followed a long, winding trail to resolve a couple of sticky issues — how much to pay the town’s zoning administrator, and what to do about bids on a town bridge project. On February 4, at the end of a contentious meeting, it appeared the board was about to cancel the bids for the Maple Hill Road bridge and reconsider its recently enacted procurement policy before soliciting new ones.
