It’s been a good year for apples here in the Northeast Kingdom, according to two local orchardists who make their living off of the season’s harvest. Josh Karp, the owner of Cate Hill Orchard, and Ben Applegate, the orchardist for Eden Specialty Ciders, take somewhat different approaches when it comes to collecting and distributing their bounty, but their take on the season and the issues and concerns that they face are very much the same.
