IT “FEELS GOOD” – when I touch it. Cotton clothing and a blanket that I have which were made in Guatemala. Sandra, 802-323-4498. Two tops I recently bought are definitely computer generated, not people made. They are nice for dress up, but fabric so thin would last about one day in the garden. Pick & Shovel has T-shirts from Carhartt that are made in Guatemala. These are cotton and polyester. They also feel good to the touch. Reason why I do not know, but suspect several factors. 1. Type of soil where the cotton is grown. 2. How they grow the cotton (chemicals used in farming). 3. Type of dye that is used. The type of polyester. These shirts seem to be traditionally sewn and the fibers seem thicker than most.
BERRY CREEK STRAWBERRIES – one pint cleaned and sliced. Add a little honey, splash of balsamic vinegar, pinch of salt, splash of rice wine, and chopped basil leaves.
