Opposition to a proposed expansion of the landfill in Coventry is mounting

Recently, Quebec weighed in. Denis Paradis, a member of Parliament from Brome-Missisquoi, has urged the state to put a hold on the process until studies have determined the potential impact on water.

Memphremagog Conservation, Inc., (MCI) has written a letter to Vermont’s Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) opposing the expansion and expressing concern about the landfill itself.
