North Country FBLA holds successful blood drive

• Bookmarks: 58

North Country Union High School’s Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter hosted its first blood drive through the Red Cross on February 19. Over 50 people attended the closed drive. The group’s goal for the drive was to donate 30 pints of blood, and they finished the day with 34 usable pints donated. They also had two power red donations. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component, therefore, these donations help more patients.

North Country FBLA thanks all of the students and staff who donated. Donating blood helps save lives and they couldn’t have done it without the support of those who participated. — from North Country FBLA.
