Moose hunt was successful, more permits this year

Hunters of every walk came out to Lake Region Union High School on Monday night, as officials with the state Fish and Wildlife Department held the first of a series of public hearings on deer and moose.  The state’s large mammal specialist gave a report about the 2022 hunting season and sportsmen of the Northeast Kingdom gave their perspective on the previous season, asking a few questions after putting their heads together to talk about the major issues that hunters faced throughout the year.
