Greensboro library to host annual chili dinner and variety show
The Greensboro Free Library will host its community chili dinner on Friday, February 16, at 5:30 p.m., in the fellowship hall at the Greensboro United Church on Wilson Street in Greensboro. The variety show, put on by area homeschoolers, will follow at 6:30 p.m.
People of all ages are invited to come take the chill out of winter by partaking in a variety of chili (including vegetarian and Paleo), coleslaw, cornbread, and cookies. Traditional chili toppings like sour cream, onions, and cheese will be available. Juice and decaf coffee will also be provided. Come enjoy the food and fellowship of your friends and neighbors.
Volunteers of the library will provide the food. There is a suggested donation of $8 for adults and $3 for children. All donations will go to support library operations. Call the library at (802) 533-2531 for more information, or to contribute to the wonderful food. — from the Greensboro Free Library.
