Governor to tap a maple in Hardwick

Governor Phil Scott will be at Hazen’s Sugarhouse in Hardwick on Friday, March 9, at 10 a.m. to tap a maple tree.

The event is held annually to recognize the importance of the maple industry to Vermont’s economy and heritage.

The Governor will be joined by Agriculture Secretary Anson Tebbetts and other folks.

Hazen’s Sugarhouse is located directly behind the Hazen Union High School at 126 Hazen Union Drive. — from the Agency of Agriculture.
