Falcons rule the roost in match-up with Lake Region

How does one hunt a bird of prey?  A stone from a sling may seem the tool for the task, but a Falcon can soar and fly fast with great agility.  Should the bird take a defensive position, things may be made even more difficult for a Ranger on the prowl.  The Falcon, with walls between it and the determined Ranger, can hold out while the hunter searches for it.  Still, the Ranger never gives up.

Such a scene seemed to play out on the court at Lake Region Union High School Thursday, January 16, when the North Country Union High School Falcons met the Rangers on their home turf, a match that offered an early season measure of the friendly rivals’ programs.  The two teams share a division, but, so far, their seasons are taking different trajectories.
