Debra Valley
Debra Jean Valley, 62, died peacefully on December 2, 2024, at North Country Hospital in Newport. She was born on July 12, 1962.
Debra served over 20 years as a clerk for the town of Morgan. She also opened up her own tanning salons in Morgan and Barton.
In her free time, she loved hanging out with family and friends, going to Peaks Island, Maine, and being out in nature. One could always find Debra laughing and with a smile on her face. She will be missed dearly.
Debra is survived by her two sons: Stephen Flynn and his wife, Tiffany, and Levi Flynn and his wife, Cassandra; and her grandchildren: Aliyah, Jacob, Madalyn, Domanic, Isabella, Daniel, and Evelyn.
She is also survived by her brothers: David, Keith, and Kenneth Valley; her sister Kathleen Matten and her husband, Pete; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents: Sandra M. Valley and Edgar I. Valley; and her brother, James Valley.
A celebration of life for Debra will be held in the summer of 2025. The date and time will be announced at a later date.
Andre Theberge
Andre N. Theberge of Derby, died in Newport on November 20, 2024. His wife, Judy, and his sister-in-law Gail were by his side.
Andy was born in Lambton, Quebec, to Albert and Irene Theberge on November 24, 1938.
He married Judith Corkins in 1960. They had three children: Michael Theberge and his partner, Phyllis, Katherine Spence and her husband, Joe, and Theresa Whittiker and her husband, Whit.
Andy was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Irene Theberge; his brothers Gene Theberge and Paul Theberge (Leslie); his sisters Louise Theberge and Claudette (Bruce); his parents-in-law, Julian and Irene Corkins; his sister-in-law Shirley Downes and her husband, Jeff, Cathy Corkins, and Wendy Corkins; his brother-in-law Robert Aldrich; and his granddaughter, Savannah Theberge.
He is survived by his wife, Judy; his children: Michael, Katherine, and Theresa; several grandchildren: Chad Theberge, Jeremy Spence (Kathryn), Benjamin Spence (Julia), Melissa Dewitz (Steve), Katherine Seavey (Kyle); three great-grandchildren: Isobella and Casey Spence, and Brady Crahal; his in-laws: Betty Aldrich, Bobby Corkins, Gail Corkins, Richard Corkins, Keith Corkins, Kenneth Corkins, and Sandra Judd; many nieces and nephews; and a cousin in Canada, Aline Theberge.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be held in the summer of 2025.

Linda Libby
Linda June Libby, 73, of Albany, died on November 8, 2024, at her home. She was born on August 2, 1951, in East Hartford, Connecticut to the late Hugh and Mary (Freeman) McIlvane.
Linda graduated from Penney High School in East Hartford before going on to graduate from the University of Rhode Island, class of 1973. She then obtained her master’s degree in nursing online. She worked in the intensive care unit at George Washington University Hospital, and taught nursing at Norwich University. Linda worked at Copley Hospital in Morrisville and Central Vermont Hospital in Berlin, before finishing her career in the emergency room at North Country Hospital. She had an incredible smile and a great laugh, was a brilliant, kind, and compassionate person. She was a very good listener and always handled difficult situations with dignity, especially at work. She loved to garden, travel — especially to scuba dive in the Caribbean — as well as reading and writing. She was also a member of the Four Seasons Garden Club.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Libby; her brother Bill McIlvane; her sister-in-law Kathie Rarity and her husband, David; and her cousins, Denise and Donna Caye.
She was predeceased by her parents and uncle Bill Caye.

Robert Kane
Robert W. Kane, 82, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, died on November 27, 2024, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Bob grew up in Island Pond and loved the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and going to camp in Island Pond with family and friends.
He married Jean Kerr of Arlington, Massachusetts, on October 12, 1968. Bob and his family resided in Loudon, New Hampshire, for many years before retiring to Port St. Lucie, Florida, with his wife, Jean.
Bob was an Army vhaving served in the U.S. Army for several years. He enjoyed watching sports and was an avid fan of the Red Sox, Celtics, and New England Patriots. Bobby also liked listening to country music, especially oldies like Hank Williams Sr., Johnny Cash, and Tom T. Hall.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jean Kane, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, and his daughter Amanda Kane and her husband, Jeremy, of Nashua, New Hampshire.
Bob is also survived by his siblings: Betty Little and her husband, Don Little, of South Burlington, John C. Kane of Boston, Massachusetts, Kathryn (Candy) Lyon of Island Pond, Mark P. Kane of Essex, Paul M. Kane of Waterbury, Shawn P. Kane of Tampa, Florida, and Sharon P. Canfield and her husband, Aloysius Canfield, of Milton.
Bob is predeceased by his parents, William J. Kane and Priscilla R. Kane, of Island Pond.
A service will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, New Hampshire, to be determined at a later date and time.
