After a brief encounter when they were teens, she and her husband, Leo, started their lives together many years later on February 24, 1963, after each had been married with families. This union brought three more to the mix.

Everyone who got married usually received a blanket and matching pillows. She loved being with family and friends and always enjoyed going to Florida in the winter once they were retired.

She sold Avon for many years, which Leo helped with as she didn’t drive, and she was a guardian ad litem for the family court system in Newport. She helped many families through difficult times.
