Frank Buffi

Frank Buffi, 77, of Brownington died on Thursday, June 10, 2010, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Born May 14, 1933, in Providence, Rhode Island, he was a son of the late Victor and Jennie (Brunetti) Buffi.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict.
He married Goldie M. Barney, and together they raised two children.
Mr. Buffi was a very proud man and was honored to serve his country.  He loved people and company — the more the merrier.  He loved life and lived every day to the fullest.  A very strong-willed man, he made his choices to the very end.  His life was his family; nothing was more important to him.  He was motivated to build the family home by himself and landscape it.  He had a huge heart and would give away anything.  He was known most for his whistling.  To know him was to love him.
He is survived by his loving wife, Goldie; a daughter, Frankie, and a son, Lance, all of Brownington; by brothers-in-law Wayne Barney, Roland Barney and his wife, Jessie, of Island Pond; by sister-in -law Wanda Ovitt and her husband, Alan, of Lithia Springs, Georgia; by several nieces and nephews; and by some very close friends.
