Dennis J. Nault, 56, of Derby joined his beloved Mom and Dad, Marie and Ernest, and his brother Ronnie at their final resting place on July 19, 2011.

After military service he held several jobs, but his passion for cars and making people happy started his 25-plus years at Hayes Ford, where he received numerous sales awards.
Mr. Nault wasn’t happy unless he was helping others, both people and pets.  He served on the board of directors for the Northeast Kingdom Spay and Neuter Program, assisted the Frontier Animal Society, and he was a supporter of the Lake Region Senior Center in Orleans.
He is survived by his sister Barb of Maine and by nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, numerous friends and neighbors, a special friend, Alma Marsh, and by his two feline roommates Tigger and Daisy-Mae.
Although his life was short on this Earth, he touched many and his quick wit and smile will be forever etched in our memories.  Do not grieve for his loss of life, but celebrate the numerous ways he gave to it.  He spent countless hours and personal funds to make sure that both his fellow man and pets alike had food, shelter and a better life.
Mr. Nault was laid to rest on July 25 at the Irasburg Cemetery with full military honors.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name.  Make checks payable to Community National Bank, and send to 3286 Lake Road, Newport Center, Vermont 05857 as he wished for future care of the many animals at the Frontier Animal Society.
