Community Wellness & Rehab Center

cwrc 002Community Wellness & Rehab Center thanks you for the dedicated/committed community support. Because of you, they are going strong, providing 13 years of service to Orleans County. CWRC provides skilled physical therapy intervention complying with all state and national laws and following their National Associations guidelines.

Becky Basiliere, PT, joined the team in September 2012. She is experienced in management and treatment of acute and chronic muscle and joint pain, and neurological disorders of all ages. She practices with a focus on postural restoration.

Wilden Fils is in his senior year of obtaining a four-year B.S. degree in exercise science with a minor in coaching. He joins them this year to oversee their gym.

Dottie, office manager, continues to keep the clinic running smoothly with her solid customer service skills meeting everyone’s needs, from scheduling to answering insurance questions.

Karlene Guay, PT, owner, works daily with adults to restore them to their prior level of function using modalities, procedures, manual therapy and retraining of muscle groups.

Therapy is provided at the clinic, in your home, or in a pool. Their 2,000 sq. ft. facility has a relaxed environment that is personal and private.

Open Mon.-Fri. Extended hours of 7 a.m.- 6 p.m., with weekend treatments as needed.

Freedom Physical Therapy provides a friendly, caring, positive environment while providing high quality care to their patients. Each patient has a physical therapy evaluation and treatment with one of their therapists — Johanne Breton Richardson, MPT; Chad Hardin, PT; Seth Starr, DTP; and Andrea Myrick, PTA — followed by diagnosis, discussion of prognosis, treatment and education. They provide one-on-one care and specialized treatment for each individual’s needs and offer multiple services such as expert hands-on manual skills, muscle energy techniques, craniosacral, myofascial release, soft tissue mobilization, and much more. Patients also have the option of doing their physical therapy in the indoor warm water therapy pool. Freedom Physical Therapy has expanded, adding the new Mind Body Movement Center. They now offer 10 private treatment rooms and a 650+ sq. ft. studio space for group classes.
