Joe Desrochers and Donna LaPlume have a multi-faceted business, offering Arabian horses for sale and breeding. They market other breeds for their clients. They have a very successful boarding stable and tack shop. We expanded the Tack Shop, offering something for everyone. We carry many quality brand names including Toklat, Myler Bits, Cavallo sport boots, Big Horn and Simco/Longhorn. We have something for everyone, English/Western boots, helmets, hats and barn supplies.
Joe has a team of beautiful Canadian chunk mares that he uses with his vis-a-vis carriage, red wagon and sleigh. They are available for special occassions. Joe & Donna also do a benefit trail ride for St. Judes Childrens hopital. This is always a very sccessful event.
Their lesson program offers Natural Horsemanship, this is offered by their daughter in law Julia Gregory. In 2012 Larry Bonnell and Frances Collins is joining our team. Larry has trained and shown numerous horses to National, Regional and World titles. He has trained Jr. Exhibitors and amatuers to this level. Larry has worked with several breeds. Frances is his assistant trainer. They have a full lesson program teaching saddleseat, Hunt seat, Western and Driving.
Donna and Joe like to keep the atmosphere relaxing and friendly so that when boarders come to ride they can enjoy their horse without stress. It’s a great place for families to have fun, enjoy their horses and feel like a part of the family. You can count on the fact that it all started with Joe and Donna’s great love of horses.
